Practical AI education

Learn to build, launch and grow with AI.

I'm Umar. I teach builders and business owners how to build software and automate work with AI. Explore free guides, prompts and workflows drawn from launching apps used by thousands of people and building enterprise software.

What I teach

Build it. Launch it. Help it grow.

Learn the AI tools and workflows behind each stage, from your first working idea to the business around it.

01Build

Turn your idea into a working app

Give Claude and Codex a clear brief, break the work into manageable steps, and check the code they produce. Start with prompts and workflows you can adapt to your own project.

drafter-prompt.mdfrom the guide
You are the DRAFTER in a two-agent morning brief for [BUSINESS NAME].
Every day at [TIME, TIMEZONE] you write the first draft of the owner's business brief.
A second agent, the CHECKER, independently checks your work afterwards, so show your sources and never guess.

READ FIRST, in this order:
1. [FOLDER]/context.md: what the business is, its goal and current focus.
2. [FOLDER]/decisions.md: decisions the owner has approved. This is the plan of record.
3. [FOLDER]/board.md: open proposals and the Checker's latest views.

RULES FOR NUMBERS:
- Use completed days. Label anything from today as "partial".
- Missing data is UNKNOWN, never zero. Name the source that failed.

02Deploy

Get it ready for real users

Work through hosting, payments and App Store releases, with practical checks for the things a demo can miss. Know what to test before you put your app in someone's hands.

  • Acceptance checks written before the build
  • Clean build, tests passing
  • Payments verified with test accounts

03Scale

Find users. Learn what keeps them.

Explore pricing, App Store search and small paid tests. Track what brings people in, whether they come back and what they pay for before deciding where to spend more.

  • Cost per install
  • Trial starts
  • Trial to paid
  • Renewals

How I build with agents

Let AI do more of the work. Stay in charge of what ships.

  1. 01

    Give AI a clear job

Define what you're building, who it's for and how you'll know it works. A clear brief gives the agent something useful to work toward.

  2. 02

    Check before you trust

Have a second agent review the work against the original requirements and sources. Then test the result yourself. Agreement alone doesn't prove it works.

  3. 03

    Make the decisions yourself

Use agents to explore options and do the work. You decide what ships, what changes and where the money goes.

Meet Umar

I build it.
Then I teach it.

I'm Umar, a software builder and AI educator. I use AI across the life of a product, from the first idea to launch, daily operations and growth. Here's the experience behind what I teach.

  • 15+ years delivering software

I've led projects from requirements through release. That experience taught me how to ask the right questions, manage complex work and check whether a product is ready.

  • Apps launched. Thousands of users.

I've launched apps on the App Store and grown them to thousands of users, working through the build, the launch and the improvements that follow.

  • Enterprise software and AI systems

I've also built enterprise software and business tools, using AI agents for development, research and daily operations. Those working systems become the walkthroughs I share here.

  • Hands-on growth after launch

I run pricing experiments, paid acquisition and App Store discovery. My lessons cover how to get a product into people's hands and decide what to improve next.

My goal is to make that experience useful to you: understand the tools, build something that works and know what to do next. Start with a free guide and put it into practice.
